The 2018 International Symposium on Business and Industrial Statistics was held at the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science, University of Piraeus, Greece, 4-6 July 2018.
The Symposium was organized by the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science, University of Piraeus and the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS), which is an international society that is dedicated to the promotion of business and industrial statistics worldwide. This is interpreted broadly and includes areas such as financial and health services among others. ISBIS is part of a family of international associations that operate under the umbrella of the International Statistical Institute (ISI).
ISBIS promotes applications, research, and best current practices in business and industrial statistics, facilitates technology transfer, and fosters communications among members and practitioners worldwide.
