MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear ISBIS Colleagues and Friends:
Let me start by telling you about the excellent ISBIS 2018 Conference at the U. Piraeus in Greece. There were nearly 150 participants from about 20 countries. On behalf of myself, the ISBIS Exec and Council, special thanks to Sotiris Bersimis and Athanasios Sachlas for their wonderful organization and for giving us an excellent event in all aspects. I also heartily thank all the participants, session organizers and chairs, speakers, members of the Scientific Program Committee, members of the Local Organizing Committee, the generous sponsors, and all the student and staff volunteers, for making the conference a big success. Congratulations to Gonzalo Chebi (a graduate student at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Balaji Raman (Chief Statistician at Cogitaas, India) for best papers presented at the conference. They will each receive a Wiley book voucher.
